KABK in Toekomstfestival ‘Leren in 2050’

KABK students from the Future Learning Research Lab (an IST Lab initiated by the bachelor Interactive/Media/Design programme) and master students from the Interior Architecture INSIDE participated in the Festival about the Future of learning in 2050 that took place on 7 June 2018 at NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam and presented the results of their research projects. The festival was organised by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) in collaboration with the Stichting Toekomstbeeld der Techniek (STT).

BA Interactive/Media/Design - Future Learning Research lab

In the context of the Future Learning Research Lab the students were invited to create future visions of our learning process. During this Research Lab – a collaboration between STT, the Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie and the KABK – the students could attend field trips and were provided with access to professional artists, researchers and technology companies who work in the fields of neurology, artificial intelligence, interactive gaming, robotics and EduTech.

Students of the Master Interior Architecture INSIDE worked under the guidance of architect studio MVRDV and engaged with the question of How can school buildings adapt so that they provide excellent facilities for future education needs?
