anew #1 magazine by the Master Industrial Design

1 July 2018

anew is a magazine publication of the Master Industrial Design at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK), showcasing a collection of projects, interviews and images by first and second year students, teachers and experts who are all part of the Master Industrial Design team at the KABK.

At the Master Industrial Design we collaborate with the industrial field to understand processes and developments and allowing the designer to become an explorer and agent of change within the system.

Re-designing Industry

In the anew magazine we are proud to present our findings from the academic year 2017-2018.

We believe that by questioning and redesigning the conventions in the industrial system (with their products), industrial designers can contribute to a more sustainable, meaningful and culturally diverse world. At the Master Industrial Design we are fostering disruptive approaches, researching alternative models for production and business, exploring new and existing materials and manufacturing techniques.
