On 9 July 2011, Aline Baggio received the KABK Thesis Award for her thesis Escaping the advertiser and other calculating types. Op zoek naar de essentie van een postdocumentaire fotografie in het tijdperk van de massamedia (Searching for the essence of a post-documentary photography in the age of mass media).
Aline Baggio graduated from the Photography department. In 2010 she participated in the Research Lab: Are you a hunter or an observer? as part of the Art Research Programme of the lectorate.
Jury
The jury consisted of Hanne Hagenaars, editor of Mister Motley, curator at Diepenheim Art Association and organiser of the Studium Generale at the Royal Academy of Art and Nicole Roepers, curator contemporary art at Museum De Lakenhal in Leiden, and was chaired by Janneke Wesseling.
