In the propaedeutic year, all students participate in the course Research & Discourse. This programme combines art theory with research skills. Because research and thinking are essential to each artistic practice, this programme attempts to improve students’ cognitive and artistic abilities in content and practice. The two main components of the course are an introduction to contemporary artistic discourse and lectures and workshops on research skills.
