School voor Jong Talent trimesterexpo (online) - 8 July 2020

On Wednesday 8 July, students of the Art & Design component of the School for Young Talent (SvJT) present the end results of their 3rd-trimester projects in an online exhibition. Usually, this exhibition takes place in the gallery at the KABK, but due to the current situation, it has become a digital version. Feel free to join and chat with them online!

Last trimester our classes 1, 2 and 3 worked within the theme “design: craft-based, industrial and graphic”. You can see their vision and works in this digital exhibition between the works of our upper class (classes 4, 5 and 6). They each chose one work that they have worked on in the past month.

All visitors to this digital exhibition can chat live with all students on July 8 between 17:00 and 19:00! Ask your question, give a compliment. Just as you are used to doing during a physical exhibition.

You only have to fantasize about the tasty snacks, drinks and the buzz this time…

Have fun at this Trimester exposition and hopefully next time live in our building!

About the School for Young Talent

The School for Young Talent (School voor Jong Talent, SvJT) is a unique institute established by the University of the Arts, The Hague. The school is housed at the Royal Conservatoire and welcomes students of secondary education. SvJT offers programmes at three levels of the Dutch school system (HAS, HAVO, and VWO) combined with classical dance training or preparatory education in music (both offered at the Royal Conservatoire), or fine art and design offered at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK).

Students of the Art & Design Component, take art classes at the KABK, which is a 10-minute walk from the Royal Conservatoire. The classes in the first phase of the programme introduce students to various materials and techniques, while they learn how to express and elaborate on their ideas.

See www.svjt.nl for everything about the school and the disciplines Visual Arts, Music and Dance.
