Sprouts presents the work of 31 young talented artists from various disciplines, including (light)installations, (wall)sculptures, paintings, sketches, photography, site-specific works and sculptures. Sprouts offers a podium to young artists to present their work to a broad audience. The exhibition puts together a selection of the best talents of the 11 most prestigious Dutch art academies and offers a unique chance for art lovers and collectors to enjoy, and become familiar with the work of a young generation of artists.

Best young art graduates selected from the KABK Graduation 2019 for the Sprouts exhibition are:

Katharina Juricic (Photography), Soren Nellemann (Fine Arts), Zahar Bondar (Fine Arts), Tibor Dieters (Photography), Alex Avgud (Photography), Aliaksandra Puhachova (Fine Arts), Stella Kim (Textile) Suzette Bousema (Photography), Ana Oosting (Art Science).

The opening takes place from 15.00 to 17.00 uur at SBK KNSM/Loods 6.

Awards

Next to the exhibition, SBK presents two awards: the SBK Sprouts Young Talent Award and in collaboration with Otto Hetterscheid Foundation, the SBK-Otto Hetterscheid Incentive Award.

On Sunday 13 October 2019, alumnus Tibor Dieters (Photography) was presented with the SBK Sprouts Young Talent Award and alumna Stella Kim (Textile) received the SBK-Otto Hetterscheid Incentive Award.
