These advice sessions are not part of the application procedure and they do not guarantee a place in the specific study programme. A portfolio review is still part of the selection and admission procedure which determines which candidates will be offered a place in the study programme. To prepare well, we recommend you take a look at this portfolio-tips booklet. It will give you insight into the process of portfolio creation and can help you sharpen your questions.

Frequenly asked questions

During a one-on-one meeting you will receive advice for improving your portfolio before you submit it to be considered for admission. To be eligible for an online portfolio advice session, you need to have already started creating a portfolio. The portfolio advice sessions are not part of the admissions procedure.

Yes, registration is required. Register through the button above. Due to the limited number of time slots, we encourage you to make your appointment as soon as possible.

If you are not able to attend your online portfolio advice session, we kindly ask you to cancel your time slot in time (but at least 24 hours in advance to the session) by sending an email to l.top@kabk.nl. That way, this place becomes available for someone else.

The bachelor's programmes organise several days on which online portfolio advice sessions are organised. You can find all the dates on this page.

You will receive an email from us with instructions two days before your online portfolio advice session takes place. The sessions take place online in Microsoft Teams (download Microsoft Teams here). Click on the Teams link sent to you on the day and time of your session.

When you click the link for a session, a new window will open in your browser or (if installed) Teams. Accessing the platform via a browser is possible, but the experience may be different. For the most optimal user experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop (instead of a phone or tablet).

Wait to be admitted to the session from the lobby and then your online portfolio advise session can begin. Good luck!
