Online Open Day: BA Graphic Design

How can you reflect on society through graphic design? At the bachelor programme Graphic Design of the KABK, you will not only get a diverse variety of technical courses in graphic design, but all the tools and resources you need to become a critical thinker as well. This way you will be ready for the contemporary world of professional design after completing this four-year programme.

All aspects of graphic design will be covered, such as typography, design, coding, drawing, the use of interaction and theory about visual culture. At the KABK you will work in an investigative manner to become a versatile designer, trained in both traditional and new media. In addition, you will be encouraged to be innovative and to make use of surprising materials and techniques.

After this programme you can start as an independent graphic designer or choose to work for a small design studio or an established company. Many museums, architecture firms, NGOs, media companies and software developers are looking for in-house designers, making the field of design highly diverse.
