Head of the Master Industrial Design Maaike Roozenburg participates in the Design Matters Special program at the Pakhuis de Zwijger on Monday 11 June in Amsterdam, over the role of designers in the creation of 'future-proof' products that stay relevant over time.
Within the context of the theme ‘Value Futures’ and together with design critic Ed van Hinte, students of the Master Industrial Design developed scenarios, in which they've investigated how to push the lifespan of products, challenging our addiction for the ‘new’ and bending economic models.
