Amsterdam Fashion Week & Lichting 2018

The Amsterdam Fashion Week (AFW) takes place from 6 to 9 September at the Museumplein in Amsterdam. On Thursday evening AFW will be opened by designer and KABK alumnus David Laport.

Lichting 2018 is also part of the Amsterdam Fashion Week. Lichting brings together the 14 best fashion design graduates of the Dutch art academies, who present their collections to an international jury. Yuki Ito and Timothy Scholte are the KABK nominees to participate in Lichting 2018.

Wiepke Wolfsbergen, student of the School for Young Talent and winner of Kunstbende 2017 in the category Fashion presents her new collection ‘It’s your gender and sexuality’ during the AFW off-schedule program.
