Martin Lorenz (1977, Hanover, Germany) graduated in 2001 from the Graphic Design department at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK), after having studied previously communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Germany. In January 2016 he successfully defended his PhD dissertation about flexible visual systems in communication design at the University of Barcelona, Spain.

Fun fact: The design studioTwoPoints.Net, which he co-founded with Lupi Asensio in 2007, started as his final graduation project at the KABK. Back then, it was a platform for self initiated creative experiments with peers around the globe. The experiment is still at the heart of TwoPoints.Net, although they are mostly commissioned now.
