Berlin based artist Jesse Darling is a graduate of London’s Slade School of Art. Their practice focusses on the fragility of the human body and the way it is culturally defined, and traverses both sculptural installation and print media. Darling beautifully amalgamates discarded everyday objects and offers alternative queered narratives of historical tales, such as that of The Ballad of St Jerome, recently shown as part of ART NOW, Tate London.

Other recent solo presentations include , Chapter Gallery, New York (both 2018). Recent group presentations include May You Live in Interesting Times, (2019) Venice Biennale; Transcorporalities, Museum Ludwig, Cologne (2019); and Post-Institutional Stress Disorder at Kunsthal Aarhus (2018).
