Curious onlookers examine a piece of space debris from the Delta 2 launch system. Weighing about 70kg, this titanium motor casing re-entered the Earth’s atmosphere on January 21, 2001. It landed in Saudia Arabia about 240km from Riyadh, the country’s capital.
