Wednesdays 10.00-16.00 hrs, classroom tba
max. 15 students
3 EC

Course description
This workshop aims not only to introduce VJ-ing as a contemporary art form to students, but also to give a foundation for those who plan to use audio-video installations during their academic study or for their graduation project.

Depending on the amount of people who sign up, the class will be divided into work groups of 2 or 3 students The groups will do research and work on the projects individually.

The goal is to get a hand on experience with video, and moving image presentation techniques and equipments.  There will be a short show down on the last lesson. The groups will produce their clips with the Adobe CS package ( Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator ) so the prior knowledge or understanding of the basics are desired, since this workshop is not aiming to explain the basics of these programs, but it’s not a must.
