Do It Yourself (DIY) Electronics

Course Description The introductory course Do It Yourself Electronics consists of a series of workshops on the subject of electronics for art projects. The mornings will be spent looking at history, inspiring projects and becoming familiar with the basic principles and techniques of electronics and physical computing. The afternoons will be spent on one-off hands-on projects. You will get familiar with the Arduino programming environment and you will learn to read circuit diagrams and change existing examples to suit your project ideas.
Course themes The introductory course Do It Yourself Electronics will elaborate upon the following themes: - Physical computing - Art of Hacking - Sensitive responsive technology - Networking: from here to there - Electrifying Fashion - Robotics: stuff that moves - RFID: spy chips
Knowledge of programming is not required.
