The Academy of Creative and Performing Arts is a collaboration between Leiden University and the Royal Academy of Art the Hague. This Academy offers interesting perspectives for students, teachers and other researchers from Leiden and The Hague seeking the limits of what they can and know. In the Academy art and science come together.
Education concerning art is primarily given at the KABK and the RC in The Hague and the academic education is given at Leiden University. There are admission requirements for the practical courses in the arts. These requirements are for all creative and performing courses (vocal, instrumental, creative). Faculties of Leiden University
There are over 16,000 students and 1500 professors and other members of academic staff at Leiden University. The university's courses are grouped in five faculties: Archeology, Humanities, Medicine, Law, Social Studies and Physics and Mathematics.
