Alumni KABK at Art Rotterdam & Object Rotterdam
From 7 to 10 February

KABK Event

This year the KABK is represented at the largest contemporary art fair in the Netherlands. Since 2000 Art Rotterdam has grown to become the international stage to showcase the current ‘state of the art’ in the Netherlands. Over ninety renowned and upcoming galleries from the Netherlands and abroad will present the latest tendencies in contemporary art. Works by alumni Thomas Raat (FA, 2001) and Hans van Bentem (FA, 1988) will be on view at the fair.

Simultanously, Object Rotterdam– the  contemporary  design fair -  will take place in the Dutch Institute for Architecture (NAI). Object showcases unique and limited-produced design, ranging from fashion to augmented reality,  from national and international designers. Besides presentation from former students Tessa van de Meerendonk (TF, 2012) and Maarten Schenkeveld (IA, 2012), the AR LAB presents in cooperation with Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Studio Maaike Roozenburg (teacher Industrial Design) and students Graphic Design, the project Smart Replicas.
