Expanded Performance @ STROOM
29 September - 16 December 2012

KABK Exhibition

During the next three months, the programme of STROOM The Hague is centered around performance, in a broad - expanded - sense of the word.

What is presented at the opening next Saturday, September 29 prominent will not be a ready-made, finished exhibition. However, within the three months of its running time, Expanded Performance will continue to change shape as a result of the performances, activities and the public that visits the exhibition.

New work by artist Ruth Buchanan (New Zealand), Leidy Churchman (U.S.), Vlatka Horvat (Croatia / USA), Adrien Tirtiaux (Belgium) is complemented by various activities including lectures, workshops and guided tours. In addition, recent alumni of the department of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design, Thomas Heyer and Jacob Kunst will work for the duration of the exhibition on an architectural intervention in the STROOM work/exhibition space.
