18th & 19th of May: HUIST
Performance in Zeebelt theater with work by students |
Interior Architecture
Event
Make a design for a house that fits your own identity. This was the assignment given to second year students of graphic design and interior design by their teachers, Gert Dumbar (graphic design), Paul Moor and Julian Wolse (interior design).
In groups, students from the interior and graphic design departments worked together on the design and construction of their houses, which had to be made from used materials. In the workshops and in the courtyard of the academy the most beautiful, extraordinary and crazy buildings arose, made from tree trunks, car parts or pig skins.
Some houses will be selected to audition for the making of the performance under the directorship of Dumbar and Heleen Wiemer (Het Harde Potlood/ Hotel Modern). The other houses are exhibited in and around theater Zeebelt. HUIST: object theater by students will be presented on Friday 18 May and Saturday 19 May (starting at 20.30) in theater Zeebelt.
