Alumnus Pieter van den Boogert wins twice

Photography Award

Pieter van den Boogert, who graduated last year at the Photography department of the Royal Academy of Art, won twice with the publication of his graduation project What we wear. He was selected for Best Dutch Book Designs 2011 and won a bronze medal at the international jury for Schönste Bücher aus aller Welt in Leipzig.

Van den Boogert's book What We Wear was selected for Best Dutch Book Designs 2011. The project What We Wear shows the journey of our clothes worldwide. The jury judged 338 proposals this year and selected 30 for Best Dutch Book Designs. The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam will exhibit the Best Dutch Book Designs 2011 in autumn. The catalogue The Best Dutch Book Designs 2011 will also appear in autumn. Later, there will be a diversity of exhibitions in both The Netherlands as abroad.

Next to the selection of Best Dutch Book Designs Pieter van den Boogert won a bronze medal with his work at the international jury for Schönste Bücher aus aller Welt in Leipzig.

Last year, Pieter van den Boogert was nominated  for the Steenbergen Stipendium.
