Kyra Hurkman and Sabine van der Eijk win KABK-The Hague Festival contest

Graphic Design Award

‘This image attracts a lot of people far away from the city to The Hague Festivals. It contains a happy, sunny and typically summer festival feeling,’ according to the head of the jury and alderman Citymarketing Marjolein de Jong. Second year Graphic Design students Kyra Hurkmans and Sabine van der Eijk designed the winning image of the sixth edition of The Hague Festivals.

A check of €1000 was handed out by the jury. The design of the students will be thestarting point of the total festival campaign.

The Hague Marketing and collaborated the KABK for the fourth time in the campain’s development. During the ‘KABK-The Hague Festivals contest’ three teams of two students presented their poster design to a professional jury consisting of alderman Citymarketing and head of the jury Marjolein de Jong, KABK’s director Jack Verduyn Lunel, graphic designer and lecturer Gert Dumar and director a.i. The Hague Marketing Marco Esser.
