During the Suikerzoetfilmfestival this weekend, Puck Verkade (alumna Fine Arts) her video Zwei Bier Bitte will be screened in the CBK Schiedam, among other works by Guido van der Werve, Sara Rajaei, Anuska Oosterhuis (alumna Fine Arts) a.o.
Zwei Bier Bitte is a short video about long-distance love, a ego-document where reality and fiction complement eachother. To be seen in CBK Schiedam from 17-20 November 2011.
Soon the State X New Forms Festival will also start again; a 10-day international festival for avant-garde rock, cutting-edge electronics & nu-art. The group show 'A Parallel Place',
features eight young artists whose work deals with questions and themes concerning perception and reality. For this exhibition Verkade will present a new video installation.
'A Parallel Place?' is to been seen from 9-18 December 2011, at creative warehouse HOOP, Den Haag.
And last but not least: You can still see the work by David Pedraza and Puck Verkade her documentary Any Day Now at Heden. The exhibition will be open for only two more weeks untill December 4th, don't miss it!
