Unfortunately it is very difficult to find reasonably priced student accommodation in The Hague. Our school does not know a campus system and all international students are responsible to arrange their accommodation themselves. There are however a few possibilities to find student housing when you are looking for a room in The Hague or Delft.

DUWO
DuWo student housing agency provides completely furnished student rooms for students who will stay for a short period in The Hague, minimum 3 months up to maximum 12 months. The monthly rent may vary between € 295,- and € 450,- per month including cost of heating, lighting etc. Reservation implies payment obligation!.

STROOM Den Haag
The Royal Academy of Art has a close cooperation with the local cultural centre for fine arts, Stroom*. This centre provides anti squat houses in The Hague. These houses are unfurnished and on the nomination to be demolished within one year. The monthly rent is very cheap, namely approximately € 50 - 60 per month excluding heating, lighting etc. This type of housing requests an independent and flexible attitude of you. You can apply through the officer for international relations of the Royal Academy of Art. For this purpose she needs to know your name, home country, birth date and the requested rental period.
Housing is situated in Transvaal, The Hague. Currently about 30 houses are being inhabited by KABK students and used as work space.

*Stroom Den Haag is an independant foundation since 1989. It is an active center for fine art and architecture. Stroom pursues a stimulating policy for artists in Den Haag and initiates a broad scale of activities concerning Fine Art, Site Specific Art, Architecture and Design.
