International contacts are an everyday part aspect of our institute. Over 150 students, almost 15% of the total student population, are from other countries. Agreements on cooperation have been signed with 36 European and several other international art and design institutes. In recent years relations have particularly been reinforced with the United States of America, Japan and Israel. The Royal Academy of Art is a member of the Cumulus network, an International Association of Universities and Colleges in Art, Design and Media. Furthermore, our institute is associated with the European League of Institutes of the Arts and with the European Association for International Education.
