Find housing

Arrange healthcare (health insurance & GP doctor)

Studying abroad is a fun and exciting experience. Keeping yourself fit and healthy is important, especially during your studies. Moving to a new country, without your support network nearby, means the experience can also be stressful. Register at the Municipality

International students who will be staying in The Netherlands for longer than 4 months are required to be registered in the Personal Records Database (BRP) of the municipality they are living in. Read more.

Residence permit for non-EU/EEA students

Non-EU/EEA students need an entree visa and/or residence permit to stay and study in the Netherlands. The Royal Academy of Art will apply for your entree visa and/or residence permit after you have been officially admitted to one of our study programmes.
